Dr. Martin Furlong, D.C. has been the owner, lead practitioner & director of MetroEast Natural Healing Center since 1986. He has a doctorate in Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University with an additional training specialty in sports related health issues, and has worked with every level athlete from professional to youth sports. He also is advanced clinically trained in Nutrition Response Testing®.
After years of successfully treating thousands of patients with Chiropractic Care, he noticed not only a decline in how long some patients would hold an adjustment, but also an increase in dysfunction, illness, and disease among the general population. His research concluded that many of these issues were due to increased exposure to environmental toxins and poor diets which included processed foods, chemical additives, added antibiotics and hormones, and lack of real living food.
Americans were toxic and nutritionally deprived. It was causing an extreme rise in obesity, illness, and disease which resulted in daily pain, dysfunction, and even early death.
In 2009, after his search for natural health remedies that would help people start truly healing, Dr. Furlong discovered Nutrition Response Testing®. He spent the next several years becoming advanced clinically trained in its methodology.
The success was immediate - using Nutrition Response Testing® - he was finally getting the results he had known were possible! Patients began attaining life-changing results to their health that lasted.
Dr. Furlong and MetroEast Natural Healing Center help patients with chronic health issues including illnesses that have not responded to, or had success with other care in improving their quality of life.
